The Watchful Road
Real-time monitoring of drivers and passengers for a US ridesharing platform, on iOS and Android, where safety is a live signal rather than a report.
- Problem

Chapter 1 · The problemThe Thesis
In mobility, safety is a property of the present tense. A trip that was safe five minutes ago tells you nothing about now.
Chapter 2 · The client & my roleThe Catalyst
Posh Rideshare is a US ridesharing and community platform. I built its real-time driver and passenger monitoring system for iOS and Android, working across Flutter, Kotlin, Swift, and .NET.
Chapter 3 · The hard partThe Friction
Continuous monitoring on a phone means negotiating with two operating systems that both want to put your app to sleep. Cross-platform code can only go so far; the last mile is native.
The work therefore spanned the stack: Flutter for the shared product, Kotlin and Swift where each platform drew its line, and .NET on the backend, then through store review and into release.
“Cross-platform takes you most of the way. The last mile is always native.”
Chapter 4 · The resultThe Monument
Monitoring shipped to both stores as part of the product's release cycle, giving the platform a live view of the people it is responsible for.
